The Screaming Eagles Museum is located on the main road to Utah Beach, and is dedicated to those brave men, both Allied and Axis, who gave their lives and so much more in the 1939-45 conflict. The bullet-scarred walls of the museum, once the German Commandments Headquarters, set the scene, and in the surrounding fields on D-Day the American paratroopers of Easy Company, made famous by the television documentary Band of Brothers, attempted to reconvene after a scattered drop. Displays include weapons, uniforms, equipment and artifacts from both sides. Address: 73 Rue de la 101st Airborne Ste Marie du Mont Normandy France 50480
