The Chateau de L'isle-Marie has been inhabited by the same family for over one thousand years, and is a fairytale-like getaway. Set on a 100 acre estate that forms part of a protected national park, during the winter the grounds flood and the castle literally becomes an island. The B&B accommodations are made elegant with four-poster and claw-foot bathtubs. The chateau is close to Utah and Omaha beaches and bayeux.
