    Musée Le Secq des Tournelles (Wrought Ironworks Museum)
    Musée Le Secq des Tournelles (Wrought Ironworks Museum) showcases a famed traditional Norman art form. The collection was started in 1870 by Le Secq des Tournelles, a Parisian aristocrat. There are now over 14, 000 pieces in the collection, which was donated to the city of Rouen.

    Musée de la Céramique
    Musée de la Céramique features numerous exhibits, among these are a showcase of the works of Masseot Abaquesne, a premier French artist in faience, and specifically Rouen-style production. There is an entire showcase dedicated to chinoiserie, from 1699 to 1745. Among the more impressive things here is the 17th century Rouen faience, which, due to the unique colour of the local clay, possesses a distinctive dull Indian red colour.

    Musée Jeanne-d'Arc

    Musée Jeanne-d'Arc focuses on the life and martyrdom of France's national heroine, Joan of Arc. The vaulted cellar contains dioramas and wax sculptures which depict her life from her birth in Domremy, to her death in the Rouen square where she was burned at the stake. A research library, featuring information on her life and the politics of the time, is also located here.

    Musée Flaubert et d'Histoire de la Médécine
    Gustave Flaubert was born in the director's quarters of the Rouen Public Hospital where his father was the director. At Musée Flaubert et d'Histoire de la Médécine, this room remains as it was then, in 1821. Numerous pieces of medical equipment and family furniture is also stored here. Flaubert spent his first 25 years in Rouen, and went on to author Madame Bovary.

    Musée des Beaux-Arts
    Numerous works of art are displayed at Musée des Beaux-Arts. Pieces from Rubens, Caravaggio, Poussin, Corot and others are housed here. There is an entire area devoted to the works of Géricault, and included amongst them is a portrait of Delacroix. There are several Impressionist works here as well, including several versions of the Rouen Cathedral by Monet.
